After breakfast we set off
for Edinburgh. It waa a lovely sunny morning and we enjoyed the drive
through beautiful countryside. We stopped for a picnic lunch at Carter
Bar and James had a photo to mark his first visit to Scotland. Our next
stop was the pretty town of Jedburgh.
We arrived at our accommodation at Duddingston Kirk at 4 and met up with
Catherine, Andrew, Bowie, Janet, Carol and Clare. Unfortunately there had
been a misunderstanding between the cleaners and management company and the
house wasn't quite ready but the cleaners worked at speed whilst we sat in the
sunshine.
That night we had a walk to the nearby Sheep's Heid for dinner and then back to
the house and bed.
