Another beautiful day.
After breakfast we set off to the nearby bus stop to get the bus into the city.
It was quite a long drive - 40 minutes - to Usher Hall. We had decided to do
the City Sightseeing bus so that we could see as much as possible. As we drove
round we spotted some Rockies gathering on the steps of the Dome so we went to
support them. We then went to see Paddington followed by a lunch stop on
Princes Street. Edinburgh was now very hot and very busy. We had a walk
through the Princes Street gardens and then back on the bus.
Bowie and James were getting tired so the BCs went back to the house. Graeme
and Elizabeth had a walk down the Royal Mile where the Fringe was in full swing
with performers and visitors. We also had to go and see the Greyfriars
Bobby statue and visit his grave. After a quick beer we set off on the long bus
journey back.
